Neuropath Learning Privacy Policy

Neuropath Learning Company respects our customers' privacy. We will only use your information to support and enhance our relationship with our customers. The information we collect is to evaluate student performance data and improve our programs to advance intellectual growth, to aid our school district customers in helping define the use of their resources, to process your purchase, provide service and support, and share product, service and company news and offerings with customers. We do not sell your personal information. Your personal data is only shared with authorized personnel within Neuropath Learning Company with customer consent, as required by law, according to school district policies or to help Neuropath Learning Company fulfill our obligations with our customers. At any time you may contact Neuropath Learning Company with any privacy questions or concerns you may have. You also may ask at any time to see the data you have given us and request correction or deletion. Our goal is to ensure the highest levels of security and confidentiality.
Neuropath Learning Company' Customer Privacy Policy has been developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the finest quality products and services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our customers. The Policy guides how we collect store and use information about customers and prospects, and it will be periodically assessed against new technologies, business practices and our customers' changing needs.
Neuropath Learning Company may, from time to time, modify this Customer Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technological and other developments. In that event, the changes will appear on our website and school district customers will be notified directly. A change in policy by Neuropath Learning Company that is not in keeping with a school district policies will not be implemented for that district providing a written objection is presented to Neuropath Learning Company
Please note that privacy notices advising customers and prospects as to the specific uses that are being made of their Personally-Identifiable Information by specific business units within Neuropath Learning Company may also be modified from time to time to reflect changes in business practices. In this event, those changes will appear in the relevant privacy policy sections.
Neuropath Learning Company will also comply with applicable non-U.S. laws that impose additional responsibilities on Neuropath Learning Company beyond those stated in this Policy in connection with the treatment of Personally-Identifiable Information about its customers and prospects. Our Policy recognizes two kinds of personal data that deserve varying levels of protection. Personally-Identifiable Information includes, for example, name and demographic data, e-mail addresses, billing information, employment status and "click stream" data that tracks user activity on a Web site or online service. A subset of that category, Sensitive Data, deserves additional safeguards. Sensitive Data includes, by way of example, Social Security numbers, personal financial data, information about specific medical or neurological conditions and any student performance information received from the student use of any Neuropath Learning programs.
Neuropath Learning Company is committed to using all reasonable efforts to abide by the following Policy statement:
- Collection. Personally-Identifiable Information will only be collected to the extent that Neuropath Learning Company and its school district customers deem reasonably necessary to serve a legitimate educational evaluation purpose. Please be aware that if a user discloses Personally-Identifiable Information on any of our Web site message boards or chat areas, that information may be collected and used by third parties without our knowledge and may result in unsolicited communications from third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of Neuropath Learning Company.
- Notification. School district customers and individual customers will agree on the extent to which collected student performance data can be used by Neuropath Learning Company for education evaluation purposes. In no case shall student information be distributed or accessed by third parties outside of Neuropath Learning unless requested by customers. All data collected is the property of the school district.
- Security. Appropriate safeguards will be implemented in an effort to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of Personally-Identifiable Information about our customers and prospects.
- Access: Review. Procedures have been developed through which school district customers and prospects will receive and review the Personally-Identifiable student performance information that has been collected from their students by Neuropath Learning Company. The customer shall establish who shall receive specific types of student performance data.
- Sensitive Data. The collection and use of Sensitive Data carries with it special obligations and responsibilities in order to maintain the data's security, integrity and privacy. Sensitive Data will not be made available for External Distribution outside Neuropath Learning Company unless specifically requested by the customer.
- Onward Transfer. Neuropath Learning Company does not permit a third party outside of Neuropath Learning Company to access Personally-Identifiable Information through either External Distribution or Onward Transfer. Neuropath Learning Company will use commercially appropriate procedures to help ensure that information is used only for authorized purposes and by authorized persons in a manner consistent with the choices customers and prospects have made under this Policy, and that the security, integrity and privacy of the information is maintained. Please note that our Web sites may contain links to other Web Sites that have their own privacy policies and practices. While Neuropath Learning Company will employ commercially appropriate procedures to help ensure that your information is only used for authorized purposes as described above, Neuropath Learning Company cannot make any guarantees with respect to the actions or policies of such third parties.
- Children: Collection and use of information from children in the U.S. under the age of thirteen will be made in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Act of 1998. Specifically, Neuropath Learning Company will provide authorized school district personnel, parents or guardians with notice of our information practices; obtain prior school district, parental or guardian consent where required for direct sales for the collection, use, and/or disclosure of Personally-Identifiable Information from children; provide a parent or guardian, upon request, and with school district approval with the means to review the Personally-Identifiable Information collected from his or her child; provide a parent or guardian with the opportunity to prevent the further use of Personally-Identifiable Information that has already been collected, or the future collection of Personally-Identifiable Information, from that child; limit collection of Personally-Identifiable Information for a child's online participation in a game, prize offer or other activities to Personally-Identifiable Information that is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity; and establish procedures to protect the confidentiality, security and integrity of the Personally-Identifiable Information collected from children.

Neuropath Learning Company Customer Privacy Policy has been developed out of respect for the privacy preferences and choices of our customers and prospects. We have established procedures to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to address our customers concerns. Each business unit within Neuropath Learning Company has designated a Privacy Official to implement our Customer Privacy Policy for its respective customers and prospects.
The Corporation also has established a standing Privacy Steering Committee consisting of senior corporate executives and managers. This Committee will continue to oversee implementation of and compliance with our Policy and will adapt the Policy to reflect changes in technology and customer expectations.

To ensure that we follow our stated Policy, we also conduct periodic and random reviews of our Web sites and other products and services. The results of our reviews are shared with senior management and our Board of Directors. A report of our experience will be available annually.
