Knowledge First One
The teacher must deal with literally thousands of variables, each child learns differently and each teacher works differently with students. Now the school superintendent and staff can organize student performance in the district through quantifiable data. Each child can now develop at his/her own pace and achieve mastery. This is possible because the district and principal now have the ability to rapidly and continuously sense, interpret, decide and act on quantifiable student performance information. Although this approach represents a dramatic departure from conventional strategies, it is an imperative in the world where the student has the choice of learning or simply ignoring the input options offered.
Whether the students using KF are English Learners or not, they are experiencing dramatic growth in their state standardized tests.

Program Benefits
There are over 2,500 real world photos and video used in Knowledge First. The child has no need to attempt to understand abstract or fantasy that cannot possibly connect to the need for real world understanding. Children are evaluated on the kind of knowledge that they can see as being useful in their lives. New knowledge is filed into an existing framework based on previous experience. Being able to track a child.s progress in real time (as shown in the charts) provides the necessary information to manage each child's individual learning needs.
How KF Helps
There is a general understanding that successful students tend to demonstrate a high degree of self-efficacy and are willing to take on challenging tasks based on their previous experiences with success. Successful students are intrinsically motivated to succeed, and they believe that the control they exercise over events in their lives are internally mediated.
Learners benefit from instruction in which they are motivated, feel that they exercise control over their learning experience, and are accountable for their own learning outcomes. Our programs provide immediate feedback to the student and with every click of the mouse the children are made well aware of their performance and know what they must work on to improve.
